Lauren Sánchez Bezos is not wasting any time in reminding the world that her sense of style extends beyond bridal whites and Sophia Loren-inspired movie references, especially after her sun-drenched, Dolce Vita-inspired wedding to Jeff Bezos. Sánchez returned to Paris, the scene of her wild bachelorette party, for her first significant public appearance as a newlywed, and she made a bold solo statement.

Sánchez was seen leaving the lavish Hôtel de Crillon on the evening of July 8 dressed for a glamorous girls' night out rather than a low-key honeymoon supper. 

She went to the famous Laperouse Restaurant with her sister, Sarah Jane Nader, and model Brooks Nader. 

Leonardo DiCaprio, who was also there at her wedding, gave the evening a twist by making a subtle presence while wearing his trademark incognito baseball cap.

However, Sánchez was the center of attention.

She exuded confidence and high-octane glamour when she walked out in a Versace strapless minidress in a fire engine red latex. The garment channeled a combination of sci-fi heroine and siren, hugging her in all the right places. She accessorized the striking ensemble with a gilded-handle handbag embroidered with crocs, glossy black stilettos, and delicate ankle straps. While her long, pin-straight hair and soft pink lips softened the look just enough to keep it lovely, the tinted goggle-like sunglasses added a little futuristic edge to the ensemble.

Lauren Sánchez was not the same person that wore ethereal couture to her wedding. Confident, edgy, and restoring the kind of sensuous power that does not require whispering, this was Sánchez after his vows.
